The great debate. Red or White?
I personally always go for a red wine. Who can say no to red wine sangria? I love the taste more, I feel it's healthier, and I feel like there is no headache associated with red wine ! To satisfy my curiosity I did some searching...
I found red wine has less added sugars; however, white wine has less calories. This is meaningless to me but for its important for calorie counters! Red has higher levels of magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and iron. Hello multivitamin. It also has Choline, which takes part in preventing liver damage ! Who doesn't want that? So clearly red wine is kind of amazing. Not to mention all the antioxidants it has and cancer-fighting properties.
Now pass me the corkscrew!
